The Smugglers' Notch Area Chamber of Commerce is introducing a new program, referred to as 'Local Focus', to strengthen the local business community. The program will entail bi-monthly gatherings at varying member locations. The hosting business will be afforded the opportunity to provide a broad understanding of their business, followed by a more social, networking environment, rather than the conventional Chamber business meeting. Members and prospective members of the Chamber are encouraged to take advantage of the opportunity to query the officers and board members present as to current activities and to offer suggestions for future avenues of Chamber involvement. Generally, refreshments will be available commensurate with the time and location.

The initial 'Local Focus' gathering is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, from 3 to 6 PM at the recently re-opened Brewster River Campground on VT Route 108S in Jeff. Last gasp summer cook-out vittles will be served – bring your own choice of libations.

Members, as well as folks that know of the Chamber but might need a greater understanding of our role in the community to make the commitment to join, are welcome and encouraged to stop by.
