Please join The American Red Cross, Vermont Electric Co-Op, and Johnson State College for our bi-annual blood drive. The drive will be hosted by JSC in The S.H.A.P.E. Gym on October 22nd from 12:00 – 5:00 with refreshments and pizza being served all day. Blood is especially needed NOW. Flooding along the East Coast has forced the cancellation of many blood drives leading to shortages around the country. Blood collected in Vermont is currently being diverted to these high need areas leaving the shelves of our blood banks bare. Your help is needed now more than ever. Appointments can be made at REDCROSSBLOOD.ORG, you may call 1-800-REDCROSS, and walk-ins are always welcome. All donors will be entered into a raffle with great prizes including gift certificates to local businesses, a hammock, and a 32 GB HP tablet.
