Come join us at 1000 AM, rain or shine, on Saturday, October 24 at the Charlotte Beach for a demonstration of disc golf. The demonstration, led by John Sudarsky and Richard Steele, the Charlotter responsible for clearing a disc golf course at the Beach, is an opportunity to explore this highly enjoyable all season game, fit for young and old alike. Newcomers to disc golf will be able to try out pro quality discs, while established players can bring their disc kit and test out the new course. We expect at least five baskets available for play. The Charlotte Recreation Commission is seeking donations to establish a permanent nine hole course at the Charlotte Beach and we’re nearly a third of the way to our goal to purchase fixed baskets. But the demonstration is a free opportunity to see how the game fits in your recreational life. Hope to see you there.
