Over the past 5 years we have *at least* 2 completed suicides per month and we have had up to 17 completed known suicides according to Vermont's Department of Health Vital Statistics System.
On September 21st at 10am (this Saturday) I am participating in the NAMI Walk on Team "COMMITTED 2 LIFE!" to express that there are people who live with suicidal feelings and choose life, spite them. I invite you to join in!

I really enjoy participating walks and want to invite people to join our team, to walk..to fundraise for NAMI, or not.
I support people receiving support in whatever way they determine helpful.
In Vermont, NAMI is very helpful in connecting individuals to the type of support they are seeking, whether it be a NAMI Support Group or referring to another support around the state. At my work, someone from NAMI connects to us at least once a month and we get many referrals. Members of NAMI across the state participate in multiple areas of mental health and wellness, keeping input and interest circulating. NAMI Vermont brings alternative thinking whenever possible, no longer receiving money from pharmaceuticals and recognize that life traumas can contribute to mental health challenges.
My fundraising goal was $1.00...this goal has been met. What is money?
