Fyre and Lightning Baroque Orchestral Group Concert

Main Street Arts @ St. Andrew's (1256 Main Street, St. Johnsbury) presents The Fyre and Lightning Baroque Ensemble on Sunday October 18 at 4:00. The Ensemble will present baroque trio sonatas and more by Bach, Handel, Telemann Albinoni, Zelenka, Corelli, and others arranged by us for our instruments.

Lynnette Combs (harpsichord) is organist and music director at First Baptist Church in Burlington, Vermont.

Kathy Light (recorders) is a founding member of The Fyre and Lightning Consort. She started playing recorder in high school in an American Recorder Society group, and quickly fell in love with Baroque Music. She studied Early Music at Goddard College and Sarah Lawrence College.

Steven Light (recorders) is a founding member and director of The Fyre and Lightning Consort. He has an MFA in Early Music Performance and plays trumpet and string bass in the Nisht Geferlach Klezmer Band.
George Stone (bassoon) started playing bassoon in the public schools in 1964, but gave up playing in college and as a young adult.

Main Street Arts @ St. Andrew's is an outreach ministry of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church. Our mission is to contribute to and broaden the cultural life of the St. Johnsbury area by bringing live music to the community. $10 at the door or through Catamount Arts. $5 students and children.
