Fall Knitting Classes at the Blinking Light Gallery - Mitered Squares

Come learn how to knit mitered squares, a simple design technique which yields sophisticated results. The class begins this Sunday afternoon, and will continue on October 6th and 20th and November 3rd and 17th. We will start by knitting some basic mitered squares (solid and multicolored), and then move on to make a square pillow cover and a small throw rug. This is not a complicated class, but it is for those who already know the basics of knitting. Cost = $10 per class, plus materials; the only materials you need for this week's class are a pair of Size 8 straight knitting needles (yarn will be provided by instructor).
