LUHS Foliage Festival and Farmer's Market

The LUHS School Environment Club will be hosting a Foliage Festival and Farmer's Market at Lamoille on Saturday, October 12th from 10-3. Perhaps you heard about or attended our Spring to Life festival in May, which was a great start to warm weather and the farmer's market season! Now we're hoping to close out the season with another great community event and we are looking for vendors and community groups to set up tables for food, produce, crafts, or info. As a club, we are trying to connect our school with the local community, and one of our goals for this year is to implement a farm to school program and to be build a garden and greenhouse. With this event we are hoping to not only celebrate fall, but to bring the local community to our school to show that we are a part of it too! There will be live music, and the SEC will have a booth set up for face painting and pumpkin carving, and we are hoping to have seeds/bulbs for everyone to plant so they will bloom in the spring for our Spring to Life Festival. If you have a questions about the event, please feel free to contact clare.salerno@gmail.com about space, cost, items, etc., or you can also contact Jeremy Rector (jrector@luhs18.org). Please spread the word, and I hope you will be able to join us for this great event!

We are still looking for vendors of any kind to attend, please contact us!
