“Writing a Winning College Essay” is a free workshop for high school juniors and seniors who are planning to go on to college and who are seeking help beginning, drafting or editing their college essay. The workshop is Wednesday, September 25th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Community Room at the Ilsley Library in Middlebury, VT. The workshop will be led by author, editor, and theater director Elizabeth “Liz” Leroux. Students will leave the workshop with ideas, direction and resources. Leroux will be joined by two experts in the college search, selection and application field: Howard Verman and Andrea L. Torello.
