BIRDS TAKE FLIGHT: A Benefit event for Outreach for Earth Stewardship (OFES) this coming Saturday October 17th from 4 PM to 8PM at beautiful Shelburne Farms. Live bird presentations with the wild ambassadors, Local Food by Half Baked Pizza & Farmers and Foragers, Raffle Prize of $400 Gift Certificate for the Inn at Shelburne Farms, Live Music by Nicole Carey & Mike Schmidt, Onion River Boys of Land and a Local Art Exhibition. Kids raptor crafts and a cash bar as well. If you are looking for a fun event while helping an excellent non-profit that helps our local Vermont Birds, please come!
OFES was instrumental in helping the American Bald Eagle make a comeback to our lovely State of Vermont, please come and help support their program! Tickets through www.shelburnefarms.org ahead of time are just $15 or $17 at the door, ages 5-15 only $5 and children 4 and under are free
