Please Attend... Tonight the bike and ped. committee meeting at city hall from 5:30-8 will be addressing the capital improvement plan (CIP) for recreation path projects. Extending the path down Dorset St. in front of the Cider Mill is one possible project. This extension is a public safety imperative. There is an overwhelming desire to extend the recreation path down Dorset Street, and a strong community presence is essential as the CIP sets the priority for recreation projects projects.

The South Burlington Bike & Pedestrian Committee needs to hear from the community when they are considering these projects. Tom Chittenden, a Dorset St. resident, and I plan to show up in support of this extension. Please join us if you would like to see this extension of the bike path prioritized.
