“Final Push” Committee
The Danby-Mt Tabor Veterans Memorial is scheduled to be constructed in 2016 with a dedication planned for late September or early October. Here’s your chance to make sure that all goes well.
An invitation is extended to anyone who would like to help make the “Final Push.” A major event is in the works for next summer, and events are planned for the dedication of the memorial next Fall. Your input and support is needed.
An advisory committee is being formed to provide support and guidance. Whether you are a current, past or future resident or a friend of Danby or Mt Tabor, you are invited to be a part of the committee.
The first meeting is scheduled for Tues, Nov 3 at 7 pm at 10 South Main St in Danby (green building at South Main St and Brook Rd, across from Nichols Store). Come find out how you can be a part of this exciting project to recognize and honor over 700 local residents who served in the armed forces during conflict (Revolutionary War to the present).
