An informational meeting will be held at the Grand Isle Elementary School August 14, 2013 at 7pm to explain the board supported and proposed Granular Activated Carbon (GAC) System, why the board believes it is the better choice over chloramine and the financing thereof. There will be a bond vote August 20th at the Grand Isle Fish Hatchery to approve the monies needed for this system.
