To celebrate the statewide Button Up Vermont Day of Action, the Weybridge and Cornwall Energy Committees will be hosting a Button Up Vermont workshop on Saturday, November 7 at the Weybridge School from 11:00 AM -1:00 PM. The Button Up Vermont workshop includes an overview of why building efficiency is so important here in Vermont, illustrates how homes lose energy, and outlines clear steps that homeowners can take to address this energy loss. A BPI-certified contractor is the main presenter, and questions are encouraged. Owners of homes and businesses in Weybridge, Cornwall, and the surrounding area are invited to attend the two-hour session to learn about actions they can take to lower energy bills and make their homes and businesses more comfortable and affordable. To reserve a space for this workshop, RSVP to Fran Putnam, 388-1644 or Bobbi Carnwath, 462-2625.

Immediately prior to the workshop Weybridge Energy Committee members will be at the Weybridge Recycling Center handling out weatherization information, doughnuts, and apples. The first 40 visitors will also receive an energy efficient LED bulb.
