Step right up…to the Saxtons River Montessori School Carnival. Games, prizes, face painting, food, cider pressing, photo booth, live jug band, and a host of other surprises and fancies will offer up fun for the whole family this Saturday, October 17th from 4pm – 7pm (rain date October 24th) at SRMS, 14 Westminster Street, Saxtons River, VT. Cost of admission is $5 per ticket or $20 for a family (4+).
Come on out and try the pumpkin ring toss or go fish at the fishing booth and Curly the Cow’s silly songs and crazy jokes are not to be missed. You might even come away with some treasures from an archeological dig in the sandbox. Want to test your skills at the obstacle station of potato sack racing, donuts on a string, hula hooping? You can do all of that and more! And a carnival wouldn’t be complete without cider donuts and popcorn.
All proceeds will benefit the Saxtons River Montessori School Scholarship Fund. SRMS provides a learning environment that encourages freedom of movement, thought, and creativity with a focus on independent development – a place in which the child can be surrounded by peers, but still work at his/her own pace.
