Are you ready for the next storm or disaster? Is Richmond? Come to the Richmond Resiliency fair on Saturday, October 24. Join us for a chili & pie cook-off at 12 PM at VYCC's Monitor Barn, and participate in the resilience fair with resources and activities for families, neighborhoods and businesses from 11-1, and a resilience presentation and planning workshop from 1-3:30. Come learn more about Richmond’s hazards, ways to keep your property & family safe, and share your thoughts on how to make our whole community ready & resilient.

This event is part of Richmond’s Our Town, Our Future planning process, and will inform our hazard mitigation plan and the flood resilience chapter of our new town plan. We especially need workshop participants with knowledge of Richmond’s emergency services, economy and local businesses, environment and natural resources, community and social services, and government and neighborhoods.
