The 26th annual coat drive is coming soon. We'll be setting up on Friday, October 23rd, and giving coats away on Saturday, October 24th.

There are two venues: In Montpelier, the drive takes place at City Hall. In Barre, the drive is at Community National Bank on North Main Street.

It is time for all of you to check your closets for unneeded winter coats in good condition. If you have any unused coats, please take them to Community National Bank, in either Montpelier or Barre. So far this year, donations have been a little "thin", probably due to the glorious warm weather . . . but winter is coming!

This wonderful yearly event helps our neighbors stay warm in the cold months ahead, so please donate! We need coats for all sizes from infants to "big & tall", in good, clean, usable condition. We also need hats, gloves, mittens, winter boots, sweaters, quilts and blankets.
