Past event
Oct 14, 2015, 6 to 8:30 PM

The Clarina Howard Nichols Center and the Coordinated Community Response (CCR) team invite you to a movie night. The CCR is a group of service providers committed to raising awareness and ending domestic and sexual violence in Lamoille County. This Wednesday, October 14th please join us in watching the HBO documentary, Private Violence. "Private Violence is a feature-length documentary film and audience engagement campaign that explores a simple, but deeply disturbing fact of American life: the most dangerous place for a woman in America is her own home."

Advocates from Clarina, as well as several members of CCR will be on hand during and after the film, and will answer any questions or lend support. River Arts, Morrisville is hosting our screening. Pizza and child care are available. $5 suggested donation. Pizza will be served at 6 PM, with the film starting at 6:30 PM. Please email dev@clarina.org with any questions.
