Murderer stopped by barricade in Smugglers' Notch!
Boys caught on raft during the flood of 1927 survived by eating horses!
Four boys shot in Pleasant Valley on Halloween!
Mysterious armed cowboys bring a heavy casket via rail and dig deep grave in North Cambridge!
Judge Poland's untimely death!

These are just a few topics we will uncover on Wednesday, October 14th at 7pm at the Cambridge Historical Society (Warner Lodge), 49 School Street, Jeffersonville. Join Lynn Austin and Justin Marsh (as well as guest speakers Bill "Liam" McKone and Geana Little) as they present The Dark History of Cambridge: Murder, Mystery, and Mayhem.

We'll cover the unusual events, murders, unsolved mysteries, and other odd stories from our past. Are these stories just urban (or rural) legend or are they real? This will be a fun and bewildering event that will explore the lesser known, peculiar history of our town.
