Vermont State Archives, 1078 US Route 2, Middlesex

Step back in time for an old-fashioned slideshow on Vermont’s most famous aviation disaster, marking the 71st anniversary of the accident. An exhibit of records and wreckage from the crash will accompany the presentation.

Arrive between 5:00 and 6:00 for a behind-the-scenes tour of the State Archives’ vaults.

Presenter Brian Lindner, a native Vermonter and UVM graduate, has a lifelong interest in the Camel’s Hump crash and aviation history. Brian is the corporate historian for National Life and the Stowe Mountain Resort, and an EMT with Waterbury Ambulance and the Mt. Mansfield Ski Patrol.
