Middlebury College invites the community to celebrate the inauguration of Laurie Patton as its 17th president with a free, family-friendly concert on Saturday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. The great triple bill features the iconic Québécois band, La Bottine Souriatne, singer songwriter Taylor Watson, and Brad Corrigan, cofounder of the band Dispatch. The concert starts at 7 p.m. on the main quad of the Middlebury campus (located on Old Chapel Road off Rte. 125). Fireworks will follow the concert at 9:45 p.m. behind the College’s athletics complex, a short distance from the concert site. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and dress for cool fall weather.
