Loyalists in the Eastern Townships

During and after the American Revolution thousands of loyalists fled to Canada. A large number settled just north of Vermont in the 'Eastern Townships' . In this talk Jacques Gagne will identify links to hundreds of sources about loyalists in southern Quebec and to other settlers of this important region.
Classes are held at the Vermont Genealogy Library located on Hegeman Ave, Fort Ethan Allen, Colchester, across from the State Police Building. Classes are from 10:30 to noon and are $5.00.
The VT French-Canadian Genealogical Society’s Fall Conference will be held October 17th at St. John Vianney Parish Hall from 8:30 until 4:00.
