Rutland Building Bright Futures (BBF) is holding its third annual Free Family Fun Time Community Event-“JUST PLAY? NO WAY!” Saturday, October 17th, from 10am-Noon at Rutland Regional Medical Center in the CVPS-Leahy Community Health Education Center, 160 Allen Street, Rutland. –Just look for the signs on Allen Street, and the Just Play? No Way! Banner.

This year’s theme is “Highlighting Healthy Brain Development in Young Children through Play”.
Stations will be set up featuring lots of creative hands on activities involving art, music, reading, exercise, health, and nutrition. Snacks and beverages will be provided in addition to door prize giveaways, and free stuff. Parents, Families, and Community Members are encouraged to attend.

Community Information will be available from local organizations and businesses participating in the event such as Rutland County Starting Points Network, Rutland County Parent Child Center, Rutland County Head Start, Vermont Achievement Center, Vermont Department of Health, Wonderfeet Kids Museum, Vermont Start with the Arts, Rutland Free Library, YOGADance presented by KULA Cooperative, Inc, Children’s Integrated Services (CIS), BROC Community Action in Southwestern Vermont, Vermont Birth through Five, Let’s Grow Kids, and Rutland County Sheriff’s Department, Rutland Regional Medical Center, and Chaffee Art Center, and Vermont PBS.
