Warren resident Joni Zweig is the executive director and president of Amurtel, North America, an international relief and development organization focused on the needs of women and children in need. In this capacity she travels around the world, providing administrative support and oversight to programs that work to empower women and children, as well as disaster response. Her program at the Library is "Female Empowerment Through Literacy."
