DIY Weatherization Workshop/Button Up the Community Center

Join the Community Center in Jericho and the Jericho Energy Task Force on Saturday, November 7, 2015 for a DIY Weatherization Workshop at the Community Center.

The topics covered in the Button Up/DIY workshop are
- Principles of Home Energy
- Buttoning Up: How to identify air leaks and take simple measures to make your home cozy.
- Learning by Doing: Hands on assistance to the Community Center in Jericho to 'Button Up' by sealing air leaks in the two main rooms of the building. This work will complement the Energy Efficiency work that was completed on the Community Center earlier this year.

- Are you starting to get ready for cooler weather? You are most welcome to come and learn how to help keep your home warm and cozy this coming winter.
- Are you a carpenter, or skilled at doing your own work around the house? We especially would love to have you join us and put your talents to work so we get the job done for the Community Center.
- Are you a contractor or builder? You are also most welcome join us and volunteer your professional skills to help seal up air leaks in the Community Center.

This workshop is FREE and for all skill levels. It is being is sponsored by the Jericho Energy Task Force, the Community Center in Jericho, Jericho Center Preservation Association, Caleb Contracting and Jim Bradley, as well as Efficiency Vermont and Capstone Community Action.
