The Galaxy Bookshop welcomes Northeast Kingdom novelist Howard Frank Mosher to the Hardwick Town House on Tuesday, October 13th, at 7 p.m., to celebrate his brand new novel, "God's Kingdom." Howard will read an excerpt from the novel before speaking about his inspirations in the talk "Where Does Fiction Come From?" Following his talk, Howard will take questions and sign books, which will be available for sale at the event, as well as being available at The Galaxy Bookshop beforehand.
Set in northeastern Vermont in the 1950s, God’s Kingdom continues the story of the Kinneson family from Mosher’s bestselling A Stranger in the Kingdom (1989) through the coming of age of the heir to its rich and complicated history, Jim.
