Moonheart is a Brooklyn-based folk-soul electronic duo made up of Kim Mayo and Michael Sachs. The duo has played together in multiple settings for the past two years, but officially began playing as Moonheart in the Winter of 2015. Mayo’s surreal lyricism and lilting voice paired with Sachs’ lush keyboard playing and skipping beats makes for a sound that lies just outside the bounds of genre.
