The Jerusalem Gathering is an Episcopal congregation the meets the first and third Sunday of each month at the Jerusalem Schoolhouse at 9:30. We share fellowship, have a discussion rather than a sermon and celebrate the Eucharist together. This week we will celebrate the Feast of Saint Francis with a blessing of the animals right after the Eucharist.  Do bring whichever animals won’t be traumatized by the event, or a photo, or a stuffed animal.

The sermon discussion will focus on the comment from Lesser Feasts & Fasts: “Of all the saints, Francis is the most popular and admired, but probably the least imitated….”  .

We’ll also include pray together a prayer for the people of Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, Oregon — the latest victims of random shootings which seem epidemic in our broken world.

All are welcome to join us at 9:30 this Sunday. Children are welcome.
