Let Creative Space Gallery at 214 Main Street, Vergennes, be your starting point for Vermont's Open Studio Weekend, this Saturday and Sunday.

The free tour takes place from 10-5 on Saturday and Sunday, October 3 and 4, when craftspeople and artists across eleven counties of Vermont will open their studios to the public. Bright yellow Open Studio signs are posted along the roads to guide visitors to each studio. Visitors experience a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the workspaces of glassblowers, quilt makers, sculptors, potters, woodworkers, printmakers, jewelers, furniture makers, and painters.

Tour maps and information are available at Creative Space Gallery -- and you can see work by 45 Vermont artists and crafts people under one roof! Marsha Chase will demonstrate Needle Felting on Sunday from 10-1 and Lyna Lou Nordstrom will present a printmaking demonstration (time to be determined, call for details).
