This studio workshop will focus on the use of the palette knife as a means for increasing the understanding and application of color in the creation of vibrant paintings. The use of brushes, in combination with or to the exclusion of, are welcomed. Composition, be it in a representational, impressionist, or abstracted rendition will be a jumping off point with an introduction of creating a dynamic versus a calm painting. Still lifes and photos will provide the basis for this winter workshop.
