There is a movement afoot in Greensboro to try to eradicate, or at least control, the knotweed that is popping up in several places. There is much research and organization to do, and this will be a LONG-TERM project, but to get the ball rolling this fall, we invite you to join us at Campbell's Corner at the north end of the lake on Tuesday, October 6, 10 am. Bring a good pair of loppers (or your implement of choice) for cutting tough stems, a pair of gloves, and any knowledge you might have to share with the group.
