Kasie Enman, 2011 World Mountain Running champion, will be giving a talk at Sterling College, home of the nation’s first collegiate mountain, trail, and ultrarunning team. She will present on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:30 pm in Simpson Hall, Classroom 3. This talk is free and open to the public.
Enman, a resident of Huntington, VT, was both the U.S. mountain running champion and the first American woman to win the World Mountain Running Championship in 2011. In 2014, in her second season of racing ultramarathons, she tied for second place in the Skyrunning World Series Ultra category, having raced a high-altitude trail event every month from May through September.
She regularly competes in a mix of disciplines, including cross country, trail running, mountain running, and snowshoe racing events.
Enman’s talk will come after her visit with Sterling College’s Trail Running class earlier in the day.
