Sep 30, 2015, 7 to 8 PM

Join us for a powerful and insightful lecture and conversation with master science and technology teacher, Michael D'Aleo. In his talk, 'Understanding the Middle School Mind,' he will discuss how children develop emotionally and intellectually between the ages of twelve and sixteen. The argumentative and emotional twelve-year-old is meant to become the mature, thoughtful young adult you hope for!
Michael D'Aleo has a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Master's degree in education. He worked for seven years in the electronics field in design and development, and is listed as an inventor on seventeen U.S. patents. Since 1991, he has taught science, environmental studies, and technology to middle and high school students. This discussion will be held at the Lake Champlain Waldorf High School, 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne. FREE -- All are welcome!
