Green Mountain Tabletop Gaming (GMG) and Newport Parks and Recreation presents, Fall-oha, 12 hours of tabletop gaming on Saturday, October 3rd from 10am to 10pm at the Municipal Building on Main St in Newport.

GMG promotes non-electronic tabletop games which include board games, roleplaying games, miniatures, and card games. At each of their quarterly events, bring along your favorite games to play or just show up and play. GMG provides the space to play, you provide the games. Stop by and try something new! Or play old favorites. Break out your Magic the Gathering Decks or whatever games suit your fancy!

All proceeds from concession sales, half of all donations at the door and half of raffle ticket sales benefit the Newport Parks and Recreation Gardner Park Restoration Project.

There is no admission charge although donations are greatly appreciated. A donation of $5 per person is suggested but not necessary to attend this game day.

There will also be a raffle for your chance to win one of nine prizes (maybe more!). You can purchase tickets for your chance to win one of two $25 gift certificates to your choice of local gaming store, or any of the following games: Tsuro, Wits and Wagers Deluxe, Coin Age, or Templar Intrigue. Prizes have been donated by GMG, Black Moon Games and Tasty Minstrel Games. Raffle drawings will take place at about 4pm. Must be present to win.

Newport Parks and Recreation will also be selling concessions. Enjoy some great snacks and drinks while you play some great games.

Black Moon Games of Lebanon, NH will be vending on site to provide you with any of your tabletop purchases. If you have a specific game you’d like to purchase, they will gladly bring a copy. Please contact them to make requests.
