Community Supper to Benefit HCS

Past event

Hinesburgh Public House and Hinesburg Community School PiE (PTO) are combining forces to host a fundraising dinner for the children of Hinesburg.

Open to the public, the community supper will be held on Tuesday, October 6, at Hinesburgh Public House from 5-9 p.m. HPH will be serving a locally sourced, three-course meal for an inclusive price of $20. Half the proceeds from this event will support PiE's efforts on behalf of the children and staff of Hinesburg Community School.

During the last school year over $18,000 of fundraising benefited HCS children and staff through grants and direct classroom contributions for supplies, field trips, etc. Examples of some of the grants awarded: Maker Space Kit for 5th grade, Professional Folklore Storyteller, Summer Camp Scholarships, Dreambox Math Program, Sound Equipment for Music and Theater, Science Discovery Kits and a Worm Composting Kit for 2nd graders.

As you can see, the fundraising touches a broad swath of our community’s children, so please mark your calendar for October 6. Our goal is to host 100 dinners and raise a $1,000 for the school.

See you there!
