In March of 2016 the 8th grade class from the Castleton Village School will be traveling to Washington DC for a four day, three night educational trip. The Castleton Village School is a 6-8th grade middle school that serves the towns of Castleton and Hubbardton, Vermont.
This trip is entirely paid for by local fundraising and families – no budgeted school funds are used. This trip has become a tradition at CVS and 2016 will be the 30th year that our 8th graders will get to visit our Nation’s Capitol, many for the only time in their lives. Important cultural and education sites visited by the students include Arlington National Cemetery, the National Mall with its many famous Smithsonian Museums, the Vietnam War Memorial, and the National Zoo.
Please consider supporting this once-in-a-lifetime trip for many of our local children by participating in some of our local fundraisers.

*Basket Raffle—October 3, 2015 at the American Legion from doors pen at 11am, drawing of tickets starts at 1pm. There will be over 175 fun filled baskets & Gift Certificates. Lunch & snacks will be available for a small donation. Please Join Us!!!!

Donations of Baskets, Gift Certificates or Door Prize items can be dropped off at Lisa Thayer's house- 1222 Route 4A west, Hydeville or Castleton Village School before Saturday Oct. 3rd or Saturday morning before 11@ Castleton American Legion.
I will kindly take any new or like new items you may have laying around your house to use toward door prizes/baskets.
