Women Can Do is a one-day career immersion experience for 9-12th grade girls from across Vermont. Over 450 high school girls participate in hands-on workshops and action stations highlighting careers in the skilled trades and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) fields. At Women Can Do girls may operate an excavator, weld, climb a fire ladder, build a robot, design a 3D model, create an online game, wield a chainsaw, extract DNA from cells, or change a tire.
If you would like to volunteer for any length of time throughout the day by helping the event run smoothly, OR if you have a STEM/trades related tool or skill to share, please share your information with us at this link: https://womencando.wufoo.com/forms/z1xqn1j40wjwxa9/ , and we’ll follow up with more specifics.
Lunch from the VTC dining room is provided for all of our volunteers. Thank you!
Thursday, October 15th, 7:30-3:30 at Vermont Technical College in Randolph
