Fall Clean-Up Sept. 26: Indian Brook Park maintenance
For the second annual Essex Fall Clean-up, the Conservation and Trails committees are organizing maintenance efforts at Indian Brook Park and asking for help from volunteers. One team will do trail maintenance by cleaning leaves and debris out stormwater swales. Another team will remove invasive plants. Visitors will also have an opportunity to go on a nature walk.

The Clean-Up is scheduled for 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, with a rain date of Oct. 3.

Volunteers can meet at the middle parking lot, and should bring work gloves, work clothes, sturdy shoes, and loppers or hand saws. The Conservation and Trails committees will provide additional tools, as well as refreshments.
