4th Annual Vermont Tree Stewards Conference
Saturday October 10th, 8:30am-4pm
Holley Hall in downtown Bristol (1 South Street)
Registration: $12
Conference focus: Healthy Trees, Healthy Communities
We know that trees benefit communities; research studies, anecdotes, and our own experiences guide us in understanding the many benefits of trees. As the field of urban and community forestry grows, so do the ways that we are able to understand the vast suite of values provided by tree canopy cover, and the necessary resources, knowledge, and collaborations needed to grow healthy, long-lived trees in our most populated areas. At this year's Vermont Tree Stewards Conference, our speakers -- a mix of professionals, State staff, and local leaders -- will explore the intersection between stewarding healthy trees and fostering vibrant communities.
