What an exciting week we are going to have. This Friday is our first Dog Appreciation Day! Justice for Dogs will be here with some precious kittens and to talk about rescues, fostering, spaying/neutering, and support opportunities for their wonderful organization. John, from Claire's Dog Camp and Sanctuary Farm, will be giving dog training demonstrations, Chad, the Dog Trainer, will be helping with a really fun children's activity, and our vendors will have flower essences, bones, liver, and cookies for your dogs. You don't have to bring your pet along with you to get so much out of this event. If you do want to bring your dog, it must be leashed and under control at all times. Please do not bring dogs that are not properly socialized. And, if that is not enough, Bread and Puppet will be here to entertain us. We are still collecting for the Vermont Food Bank's Hunger Action Month - one in four Vermonters has no food security. Let's all do our part to help our neighbors - $1 buys 3 meals! Our produce vendors now have pumpkins and winter squash along with all of the other wonderful vegetables they carry. We also have apples and cider. Come on down to Atkins Field with your neighbors and friends, have dinner, watch Bread and Puppet, learn more about your furry friends, and enjoy this first Friday of autumn. We are open 3 - 6 and located on Granite Street, off of Route 15 (by Rite Way Sports). See you there!
