All levels and abilities welcome.
Contemplative Practices cultivate a critical, first-person focus, and act as a reminder to connect to what we find most meaningful. Contemplative practices can develop the capacity for deep concentration and quieting the mind, can help develop greater empathy and communication skills, improve focus and attention, reduce stress and enhance creativity, and support a loving and compassionate approach to life. Contemplative practices are widely varied and come in many forms, from traditions all over the world.
For this workshop we will combine active/somatic physical practices with still/restful/silent practices and rituals.
Please bring a journal/notebook and something to write with. Wear comfortable clothes for moving.
