Volunteer Tree Planting This Saturday at Missisquoi NWR

Past event
Sep 26, 2015, 9 AM to 12 PM

Celebrate National Public Lands Day and plant a tree to help restore the forest and protect the Missisquoi River this Saturday. We will be planting 300 native trees along an eroding river bank on the Missisquoi National Wildlife Refuge. Come to plant one or many!

Meet at the Black Creek/Maquam Creek Trail head parking lot on Route 78 west of Swanton at 9:00am Saturday the 26th. We will be bringing folk across the river by boat and planting until noon. We can bring folks back across the river if you only want to plant for a short time.

Dress for the weather and bring water if you want.

Please help support this restoration effort and plant a tree for the future!

Call Ken at 868-4781 with questions.
