Celebrate the harvest season with gardeners and friends 3-6pm Sunday, Sept. 27, at Winooski Valley Park District’s Ethan Allen Homestead in Burlington. There will be delicious food (including a community potluck and free Mexican Street Corn, Chessters ice cream sandwiches, and bike smoothies), kids’ activities, garden and trails tours, and music by Sarah & John of Woodbury Strings, along with their youth students.
This annual party is presented by the Vermont Community Garden Network in partnership with Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront/Burlington Area Community Gardens, Winooski Valley Park District, VNA Family Room, New Farms for New Americans, Vermont, and HANDS, with the support of City Market and Rhino Foods.
Tours of Winooski Valley Park District trails, BACG Community Gardens, VNA Family Room Garden and VCGN's Community Teaching Garden start at 4:30pm. BACG will have a returning gardener sign up and end-of-season survey with interpretation for Burundian, Nepali, and Somali gardeners.

Burlington Parks, Recreation & Waterfront will provide transportation from Franklin Square to the party starting at 2:30pm.
