Michael Zemanek was a 22-year-old Northfield police officer who died unexpectedly of a heart ailment in 2013. In honor of his memory, and to assist families of Vermont police officers who have either died or who face serious medical hardships, Michael's family created a foundation. The 1/2 mile kids race and the 5k will raise money for this endeavor. Registration will start at 9:00am in Milano Ballroom at Norwich University. The kids race is at 10:00 and the 5k at 10:30.
