‘Understanding the Middle School Mind' with Michael D'Aleo

Past event
Sep 30, 2015, 7 to 9 PM

One of my favorite speakers is coming next week. Here are the details. Hope you can come!

Join us for a powerful and insightful speaker evening with master science and technology teacher, Michael D’Aleo on Wednesday, September 30 at 7pm. Learn how children develop emotionally and intellectually between the ages of 12 and 16. The argumentative and emotional twelve-year-old eventually becomes a mature, thoughtful young adult, and parents and teachers can really help along the way.

Michael D’Aleo has a Mechanical Engineering degree and a Masters degree in education. After completing his undergraduate studies, D’Aleo worked for seven years in the electronics field in design and development, and is listed as an inventor on seventeen U.S. patents. D’Aleo began teaching science, environmental studies and technology to middle and high school students. He has lectured internationally on science and education, and has authored books on teaching enlivened science and living with new technologies.

The talk will take place at the Lake Champlain Waldorf High School: 122 Bostwick Road, Shelburne. It is free and all are welcome! Questions? contact Pam Graham (802)985-2827 ext 12. pgraham@lakechamplainwaldorfschool.org. Learn more: www.lakechamplainwaldorfschool.org/events/michaeldaleo/.
