Join the Swap Sisters for an afternoon of workshops, tasting, and swapping Sunday September 27 at the Food Preservation Party! The day will focus on all things related to food preservation. There will be a range of options from the basics of canning, freezing and fermenting to seed saving, herbal preparations and more. Workshops run from 1-5pm, then we break out the samples for happy hour. Everyone is welcome to bring something homemade to share for sampling- beverages or food. At the happy hour we'll also do a "culture swap". If you have extra cultures such as kefir grains, yogurt culture, kombucha mother, vinegar mother, sourdough....bring some along to share. Please accompany your culture with a label and brief directions.
