The Braintree Connectivity Committee will host a public meeting on Monday September 28 at 7:00pm at the Braintree Town Hall (NOT THE TOWN OFFICE!!). Representatives from ECFiber will be on hand to discuss progress on the roll-out of fiber-optic broadband internet and phone service to underserved parts of Braintree. The meeting will also be focused on plans for further expanding high speed internet to “spur lines” along roads leading off the main trunk line currently being constructed.

All residents interested in learning more about ECFiber’s movement into Braintree should attend. ECFiber will be providing information on how community involvement drives the construction of their network. Their success in other towns has been fueled by active citizens, working together to make things happen.
