Fall chores got you down? Leave the work to us! Harwood Interact club, a student led, Rotary sponsored group is organizing a fall day of work on Monday, October 12th to support WISER. WISER (the Women's Institute for Secondary Education and Research) is an association which helps with the health and education of Kenyan girls. All donations earned will go towards our goal of raising $3,000 to pay the tuition, room and board of one girl for one year of school, which she otherwise would not be able to afford. Even as little as $25 can provide textbooks for a year for a student. Every donation is important for improving the education and lives of these girls.

We are seeking community members and local businesses who could use help with work or chores this season; such as stacking wood, raking leaves, fall cleaning, or other household or business tasks. We have students available for any size job. If you have work for us, contact Ellen Berrings at 882-1167 or by email at eberrings@wwsu.org. During this contact we can discuss the number of students needed to get your task done. We are seeking a minimum donation of $10 per hour, per student. All contributions will benefit the WISER fund.
