Valley Stage Productions is pleased to announce its inaugural season of Sunday afternoon concerts; “P.M. Sundays – poets and players” taking place at the Richmond Free Library in Richmond, VT. This unique series of 8 performances over 7 months includes a Grammy winner (Ed Gerhard), a Grammy (Darol Anger) and Juno (Annabelle Chvostek) nominee, great up and coming national acts and a few favorites from past Valley Stage Music Festival performances.
Taking place at the beautiful and intimate (120 seat) Richmond Free Library community room, each concert will have a 4:00 p.m. start. We feel it will be a great way to finish up your weekend and for those who look at Sunday as the first day of the week....an even better way to start it off.
The series was inspired by two sold out concerts that took place in Nov. of 2012 when Darol Anger/Joe Walsh and friends visited this space, filled the room with an eclectic mix of bluegrass, jazz standards & originals and immediately suggested making their Thanksgiving weekend performance a yearly event. We’re glad to announce that the quartet will be returning on Nov. 24.
