Past event
Oct 4, 2015, 11 AM to 3 PM

Do people compliment you on your chili? Be a contender in the Marshfield annual Chili Cook-off at this year's Harvest Festival! Contestants are entered to win one of four prize baskets from local businesses and artists. To enter: Email friendsofthejaquith@gmail.com by September 26th.*

Harvest Festival Activities: Local music, face-painting, cider pressing, pop-corn popping, games, historical tour of Main Street, bake sale, book sale, Chili Cook-off ($8/adult, $4 children, includes chili, cornbread and salad--vote for your favorite chili), BBQ for sale, too.

*Proceeds benefit the Jaquith Public Library. Chili Cook-off entries should arrive by 10:30am in a crock pot, contain approximately 25 servings (a 5qt or 6qt crockpot with extra to so we can top off your crock pot as it empties would be great) and be accompanied by an easily legible ingredients list. Cook-off admission waived for contestants. If the chili competition seems too fierce - a few non-mayo coleslaw donations or some plastic silverware/paper plates would also be appreciated. Also - we would love volunteers to help with the set up and clean up - 10/4 from 11am-2pm. THANK YOU!!!
