*Duality & Impermanence*
*A group Art Exhibit Celebrating Autumn*
As the sun crosses the equator during the Fall Equinox, it is both a time of duality and a time to acknowledge impermanence.
There is equal time of day and night; sunlight and darkness. The last of the flower petals fall to the ground. The leaves on the trees give us brilliant flashes of yellows, oranges and deep reds then begin their descent leaving only bare branches behind. The air is no longer hot and humid, but now cool and as the fall breeze carries it past gently billowing curtains and through our open windows. In the evening we enjoy the rich aroma and gentle crackling of wood burning in the stove. We employ all the senses as we take it all in and we smile.
Fall has come to New England.
